I'm not really good at talking about myself. In fact, in group activities, I get stumped when they ask us to tell something about ourselves. It's always been a struggle with me. Anyway, I'm joining BC Bloggers activity hosted once again by Sanna of Woman Scribbles. At least I've got more time to think about what to say about me, so here goes:
Offline, a photo by Wiertz Sébastien on Flickr.
- I love tinkering with musical instruments but I only know how to play the guitar fluently...strumming, plucking, and now I'm learning how to do tabs.
- My dad taught me how to read the chord chart for guitars and I basically learned on my own. He inspired me to learn it without formal music lessons. That's how he learned it and I think he's just a couple of notches below professional guitarists.
- I love books...and I could be impulsive at purchasing those that I consider worth adding to my collection.
- I always go for the natural look so you would rarely find me wearing make up.
- My comfortable outfit: T-shirt or polo shirt, jeans and sneakers.
- I love coffee and I used to have 5 cups or more of it a day. Now, I only have 2 or 3 cups of it. Finally learned what moderation means hehehe.
- I also love chocolates, but I don't like the chocolate-mint combination. That always leaves me with a weird feeling....
- I'm not one to easily give in to crying in front of people, unless I am extremely distressed or very angry. I prefer to empty my tear ducts when I'm by myself.
- I don't know how to ride a bike.
I don't know how to swim either but I plan to learn sometime soon.I managed to learn this year (May 2013) but still have a lot of brushing up to do. It's a start.- I'm more talkative in writing rather than in person.
- I tend to be shy and reserved with strangers.
- In gatherings, I prefer to blend in with the crowd.
- I easily get bored with routine tasks.
- Blue and green are my favorite colors and in that order.
- I got my dad's talents and cool, collected demeanor. But I can also be feisty like my mom lol! It depends on the situation.
- I have three adorable nephews from my only sibling.
- I'm basically a home body but I get hit by the travel bug once in a while.
- I like to doodle and make sketches, mostly when I am bored.
- I love windy days and a slightly cloudy sky.
- Drizzles are fine with me, even soothing...but I'm not one to dance in the rain.
- I like bags that have a lot of pockets or compartments to easily organize my stuff.
- I have finally outgrown my sweet tooth, more so when I started eating more fruits and veggies.
- Math was never my favorite subject but...
- I chose a college course with a lot of math subjects. Crazy me...I survived anyway. Lol!
- I love pasta!
- I also like Japanese food but not the too exotic dishes.
- I'm pretty easy to get along with, I think hehehe
- I think I have a broken internal compass...I have a very poor sense of direction.
- I'm currently struggling to learn two major dialects, just for fun.

ReplyDeleteWow, it's amazing to see that we have so much in common. 8/30 in fact. We're both home-body, book lovers who shy away with strangers and can't swim and ride bike hehe. I prefer no makeup too. I always believed that I can express myself better through writing than speaking. And I can totally relate with #29. I am very disoriented with directions.
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice list. This meme is really interesting. :)
Good for you that you know how to play the guitar. And I love books too like you do. I love the bookstore actually. I'd feel like I'm in Wonderland if I'm in a bookstore.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping my site and reading my list by they way. :-)
my day won't be complete without chocolates too
ReplyDeleteWe have so many things in common except that you are a good writer while I'm not :D Oh there is one more thing, I don't know how to play the guitar or any other musical instrument.

ReplyDelete@ Mylene - you're being humble...i read your post and judging from that, you have the blood of a writer :-)
ReplyDelete@ Jenn - we should never go out on adventures together. We might end up in another planet. Lol!
@ Anne lei - you got a point there...the pickpocket would be dismayed with a lot of pockets to poke his hands in lol!
Hi Aileen! Nice to know you. How I wish I know how to play the guitar too, but I really don't have talent in music..:)
