I'm joining the bandwagon of memes. I'm getting the hang of it somehow and I consider it a writing challenge. Something like a kick from behind saying "Write something! Anything!" They say writing can also become a habit. So let's give it a try.
I'm getting a bit of a conflict with this week's topic though. There are so many things I want to do, but I got to pick the top 5 only. Another is getting old. They say, we are only as old as we think we are. I embrace youthfulness, so how old is old? But enough of the philosophizing. What do I want to achieve before I turn 100? I guess that would be old enough, huh? So let's put on the thinking hat...or glasses...

After giving it some thought, I've come up with my top 5:
Discover my ultimate purpose
It's not that my life is without purpose. It's that I want to discover the one thing that I was made for, the very reason I exist, preferably when I am still relatively young, strong, and able. But as they say, we also need to wait upon Him. So, I'll just stay put, do the things that I am tasked to do at present, until the time comes.
Be as strong and healthy as when I am at my prime age
As you know in my other blog, I am striving to live a healthier life. I'd like to inspire others to do that also, not to be resigned to one's genetic tendencies. I'd like to be able to do push-ups and lift some weights even when I am already 60 or 70 years old. Living longer and staying healthy also means I can do so much more, in relation to my first item on the list.
Be really, really good at guitars and learn to play other musical instruments
Music has always been my passion. But I feel I am not fully utilizing that "fire" and "passion" I have for the craft. I'd like to be really good at guitar playing and to learn how to play the violin, harp, piano (yup I am more into stringed instruments) and maybe have my hands on drums as well. No, I am not really going to form a one-woman band here. If I get really good, I'd like to teach kids someday. Who knows, maybe a music school would be a great thing ...
Have my own place
I still don't know where, but I hope it's somewhere near my church. That way, I could participate more in church activities. I hope my own place would be big enough for my mom and my nephews. Would be nice to live together instead of seeing them only on certain weekends.
Travel
I'd like to go places, hopefully have my mom tag along if she's up to it. There are so many wonderful places to go to and I'd like to start with our own country, of course!
So much to do, so little time, right? I'm now curious to see what's on the list of others. I guess I'll head over to ielenna's blog to find out. I'd also like to invite you to join BC Bloggers. There are so many interesting blogs and writers behind each of those blogs. Hope to see you there!
