{Day 27}: Perhaps It's Time

Today's word prompt: PERHAPS

Sometimes they say that hurt people hurt people. I don't really know. Sometimes, people just do things for no certain reasons but then some, out of whatever motivation they have.

{Day 21}: Waves of Emotions

Today's word prompt: WAVE

Tropical Beach Wave @ Freedigitalphotos

I remember all too well not too long ago how I have battled a myriad of emotions.  At times, I'd be fine, not happy but just fine.  Like everything's okay.  Then the emotional lows would come without a warning.  Could it just be hormones?  Or could it be some form of depression?  I really have no idea.  Or so I thought.

{Day 15}: Laugh Like A Child

Today's word prompt: LAUGH

Have you ever laughed out so loud and for so long that you sides hurt and you still laugh anyway?  And maybe the one seeing you can't seem to figure out the disfigurement in your face as you laugh and wince at the same time?  And how about laughing continuously and you can't seem to stop? It will subside for a while and then the snickers would start and then you burst into laughter again?

{Day 13}: When Patience Wears Thin

Today's word prompt: PATIENCE

I'll start out with this verse from Galatians 5:22 (NIV):

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, patience
kindness,
goodness, faithfulness."

Exercising Restraint in the Workplace

Millie V. QS2
Sulking

Have you ever had breakfast while you are simmering or stewing in anger and you're trying to keep the anger from spewing like hot molten lava?  I just did, this very morning.  It was not an easy feat, I assure you.  Exercising restraint is not for the weak at heart.  But it's something I had to do to prevent from hurting people's feelings even if I felt slighted.

Office Woes: I'm Not the Villain

Julia by martinak15

I've been brooding about this since last week but I momentarily forgot about it during the long weekend.  But now that I am back at work, I am once again reminded of this unfortunate event at work.  I can't really go into so much details.  Overview of the matter is that I gave instructions to junior supervisors on both work shifts and I expected that since they are supervisors, they could already understand the logic of things and I do not have to repeat myself.  Add to that is they agreed to cascade the information to the people reporting under them. I ended up repeating the same instruction a third time because apparently, one group complied and the other didn't, which gave rise to some people saying that I am biased.

Chilling Out With Vanilla Twilight

I love the expression on the people's faces as they look up at what was supposed to be a vanilla twilight sky. Was that the Aurora Borealis or something else? I think it's something else because the Northern lights are more colorful, I think. But whatever it is, it really is a heavenly thing. I will always be in awe like them. As I am with the song. I find the melody relaxing much like Owl City's "Fireflies." There's some sweetness in the tune. The lyrics are simple and sweet also. I can keep on listening to this all day.  And it does remind me of someone.  :-)

I Missed The Solar Eclipse

Hinode Observes 2011 Annular Solar Eclipse by NASA Goddard Photo and Video

How could I have missed the solar eclipse this morning?  Actually, I didn't know there was going to be one.  I wasn't able to watch the news (when do I ever do that?) or surf the net yesterday.  Also, I was again in a rush to go to work.  I woke up late.  Call it the Monday blues.  I just wasn't ready to part with my soft pillow this morning.  Ever since the weather became cooler, I found it harder to get up early in the morning.
